As many did this Memorial Day weekend, I visited a beautiful state park on the Gulf coast near St. Petersburg, enjoying a full day at the beach.  We are fortunate to live in the Sunshine State and sometimes we may take it for granted that our beaches, rivers and attractions, which are right in our very backyards, are where other people from around the world travel thousands of miles to visit.

Florida truly is a wonderful place to visit and live!  We have clean and inviting Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean beaches, with plenty of attractions, restaurants, and historical sights to enjoy.  This is a wonderful time of year to investigate all that our state has to offer.
