I was actually going to write about another subject today but after the shocking verdict announced yesterday with the Casey Anthony trial I simply cannot get little Caylee out of my mind.  Living here in the Orlando area, we have been subjected to news about this case almost daily for over 3 years.  We have seen TV coverage and reports of every single finding and fact in relation to the case.   Not only is there great shock over this verdict, but incredible sadness that this little girl has died in vain, with no justice for what she suffered.

Regardless of any "doubt" in the case, a little girl is gone and when I look at my own granddaughter of the same age, it sickens me to even think of something like that happening to her.  Any one who has ever been a mother or a parent can agree with this.  That's why there is such outrage that no one is being made to pay for this tragedy.  As was stated on TV, "the devil is indeed dancing today."

Other countries do not tolerate lightly the taking of a life.   Amanda Knox still sits in an Italian jail for a crime full of "doubt."   But now we have a jury who has used some of this "doubt" to unleash a pathological liar and psychopath back into society.  In time it will certainly come back to haunt them.   May they be able to live with their decision.
