Growth is certainly evident in the Champions Gate area.  From Highway 27, Ronald Reagan Parkway leads to Champions Gate Blvd. This road is currently being widened to a 4 lane highway, preparing the way to the future Lifestyles Center which is in the planning stages.  Already a traffic light is in place and rows of beautiful palm trees and landscaping adorn this entrance leading to the Omni Hotel and Del Webb's Bella Trae community.  There will be shopping, restaurants, and amenities open to the public with a target date of mid 2009.  Ronald Reagan Parkway leads from Highway 27 to Highway 17-92 and the entire road will eventually be opened to 4 lanes, with close proximity to Exit 58 on I-4, and only 4 miles to Disney World.
