We managed to escape our routine and spend a delightful day at Cypress Gardens this week.  Here is an attraction that has been in the Winter Haven area for many years and is still so beautiful and well maintained that it brings a welcome relief from the hectic pace of the other theme parks.  The botannical gardens and topiaries were breathtaking and the water ski show was very entertaining.  The park has something for everyone, including thrill rides for children and adults.  And you can still pass by the "southern belles" dressed in their ruffled gowns with matching umbrellas.  Cypress Gardens is truly an escape into the "past" combining the present and is a wonderful experience for a good price.
