My New Blog

All of Florida has been extremely dry so far this year, and we have had little to no rain for over 6 weeks, with hotter than usual temperatures.  Unfortunately this had lead to several wild fires along the east coast and the destruction of many homes.  To date, Central Florida has been spared, although some smoke can be smelled in the Orlando area, depending on wind direction.   Our local highways remain unaffected but are prime locations for possible disaster.  It is important to be careful with any substance that could potentially begin a brush fire, whether living or visiting in our sunshine state.  We all hope for rain in the very near future!
