Commercial growth continues to happen in the Davenport and Four Corners area, in spite of the negative economy.  New hair salons, banks, restaurants, convenience stores and other service industries are opening for business.

Across from the Heart of Florida Medical Center, a new CVS Pharmacy is due to open in May on Hwy. 27 South.   This is the same vicinity as the Publix Plaza that opened a year ago and is now full with tenants.  In the same plaza, a new Crispers restaurant is scheduled to open by May 15th. 

At Posner Park,  Sushi Restaurant and Envy Hair Salon are now open.  Taco and ice cream stores will follow by the summer months.  Currently there is a wide variety of dining choices mixed in with shopping, and more planned for the near future.

A new Walgreens Pharmacy is still planned to begin construction before year end near the Publix Plaza.  And there are still large commercial parcels of land available in the immediate area that are rumored to be drawing interest from major restaurant franchises. 

Even in a slow economy, the growth is all around us and it is encouraging to see positive signs and new opportunities for a better tomorrow.
