Most times an Open House held by an agent for a seller does not generate an immediate buyer.  However, what it does generate is more activity for that specific home and community.  Some prospective buyers are just in the "looking" phases or are not ready to make personal contact with the listing agent.  An Open House gives the opportunity for a buyer to view a home and its features at a slower and more informal pace.

Many Open House attendees are simply curious, but you never know when a person will tell someone else about a particular home, and this is an opportune time to "get the word out" and advertise through others.  An Open House can be a disappointment, but as in all marketing stragegies, you never know which one is going to attract that buyer, so only diversified marketing is successful.

On Saturday and Sunday, August 30th and 31st, there will be an Open House from 1 to 4 PM at two homes in The Forest Subdivision of Ridgewood Lakes:  112 Golf Course Parkway and 234 Golf Course Parkway.  Both homes are located on the golf course and have exceptional features.  You can preview these homes in my listings.  Hope to see you there!
