The popular Reunion Resort, developed by Ginn, has had its challenges like all other Florida properties during these difficult economic times.  In light of this, the new operations and ownership teams have made some positive changes that they feel will benefit members, owners and guests of the resort.

There is now a "Membership Exchange Program" which is designed to allow holders of multiple memberships to "lend" their secondary memberships to a third party while continuing to keep their primary membership in good standing.  This increase in flexibility will most likely be helpful to a significant portion of members and should increase the number of members, thereby the overall usage of the Club.

Effective August 1st, credit cards will now be accepted at all on-property outlets, including restaurants, gift shops, and the golf shop.  This added convenience will afford members not only additional payment options, but also their accompanied guests the flexibility to pay for their own golf rounds, clothing, accessories, and food and beverages.  Houseguests will also be able to pay for their own charges using credit cards.

New to the upscale restaurants, in order to drive more business to the resort, Forte, Eleven and the Spa will now accept outside reservations.  Only the Clubhouse Restaurant will not be taking outside reservations so as to prioritize this facility for members.

The Water Park is still restricted to either a member, guest of a member, or a registered guest.  All must have current membership cards or a houseguest card with them in order to gain admission to this facility.

Many other changes are taking place to maintain this resort as one of the best in the area.  Making it easier for the general public to visit, dine in the restaurants, and enjoy the fabulous golf courses, is a major step in a positive direction.
