We feature Ridgewood Lakes Golf Community on our web sites not just because we live here, but because it has been somewhat of a "secret" in the Davenport area for years. 

 When we first began working for the developer of High Vista in 2001, the active adult subdivision, not much was known  about this gorgeous community complete with rolling ranch land, wetlands, numerous lakes, a variety of mature trees, wooded conservation areas, and a 5-star 18 hole golf course.

Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club is a semi-private golf course which opened for business in 1994 and was renovated in September 2007.  In the summer of 2009 Ridgewood Lakes Clubhouse was renovated with new bathrooms, new pro shop, and a  newly painted clubhouse.  A new program called "Golf For The Fun Of It" started in the summer of 2008.  This program was designed to introduce people to the game of golf and is absolutely free!  At the end of the program comes a 9-hole scramble and graduation.

The golf shop has the latest and greatest golf merchandise, but also features a bistro style restaurant open for breakfast and lunch everyday with daily lunch specials and Friday evenings for specialty dinners, all created by Chef Allan.  These dinners are open to the public but a reservation is appreciated.   We have attended many of these Friday night dinners and they are all you can eat, buffet style, with something for everyone - absolutely delicious every time!

Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club and Community has much to offer, not only in golfing but for residents.  With 5 separate subdivisons, there are communities for active adults, seasonal or residential condos, short term rental, or family residential - again, something for everyone!  More information about Ridgewood Lakes can be found on the home page left menu bar of this web site.
