My New Blog

The turkey will soon be in the oven, filling the air with that wonderful fragrance; pies will be cooling on the racks, and the anticipation of a day full of conversation, companionship, and loving family members will lift our hearts.

Let us hold fast to the authentic moment of "simple abundance."  When we gather at the table to rejoice in our bounty of blessings, let us be truly grateful.  Our hearts should be overflowing with joy as we do have so much for which to be thankful, to smile about or to share with loved ones. 

 In this time of tremendous uncertainty concerning jobs, the economy, health care, and financial instability, let us concentrate on the good that we do have, the many blessings that have been given, and the positive in our lives.   The gift of a grateful heart lets us concentrate on the extravagance of riches that we already have in our lives, and most are riches that cannot be purchased with money.

Count your blessings, be truly grateful, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
