My New Blog

With the return of the fall and winter months, we begin to have the influx of people from our northern states and Canada, who have seasonal residences here in Central Florida.

It is a welcome sight to see the restaurants and stores, as well as the theme parks swell with customers again and these winter residents certainly are the life blood of our local economy.

Even in our residential communities, dormant activities during the summer begin to take life again as residents come back to their winter homes and involve themselves with their talents, special interests and volunteer projects.

As the highways fill up with motor homes, travel trailers, and northern license plates, remember that these people help  revitalize our Florida cities and towns and are much needed to sustain the local economies.

Welcome back, "snow birds" to your southern homes!
