With the new release of Lewis Carroll's classic, "Alice In Wonderland" it brings to mind that a "window of opportunity" is a great deal like the Cheshire Cat in this famous story.  The window, just  like the cat, presents itself for a very short period of time.  For a few brief moments the window allows you to see, to communicate, and to react, but then it vanishes until the timing is right for it to appear again.

In real estate, there are also "windows of opportunity" that appear for us to take advantage of or react to.  Prices are historically low, inventory is slowly reducing, interest rates remain low, but not for much longer, Wall Street is slowly rebounding. . . . .the window is definitely "open."

But too often, as the window appears, we are so awe struck with actually seeing the window that it disappears before we can react.  Our reaction time is what we must change.

Opportunity can knock more than once; but if we are not prepared to answer, it won't make any difference how many times it knocks.  When the window of opportunity is open, will you just stand there and stare, or are you prepared to jump through?  This window won't be open much longer . . . . . .
